Day Three

It's March! Seems like a good Sunday morning and our itinerary for the day was to go the famous floating market. The last time I remembered going there, I didn't manage to see the hustle bustle of the locals selling stuffs. The only thing I managed to see, is just one boat selling fruits and drinks and ended up buying a bunch of bananas. HEH. Therefore, today was the day I kinda looking forward for. So we had a breakfast-food; as you can see in the picture below.

Super love the interior design <3

Love love love it

And we camwhored
These two picked out my top colour to match theirs; wrong choice for the day -___-""

Right after breakfast and mini photo shoot, we are off riding the Tuk Tuk to Pholen Chit BTS. There are two ways to get the place we intended to go, 1) To take the BTS and alight at Sampan Taksin and 2) Simply get a Cab/Taxi. Since, we got out quite late so we decided to take a cab, though it took us a few tries before getting one with meter! Yes, most of em; taxi drivers prefers "contract" like up to their discretion of price. And we got into a very very very PINK taxi. *ahhh super love this one*

And my #selfie

Arrived! And this cost us like 70-80 Baht
Since Kade have last been there like last year, basically she knows her way round. We found the ticket booth and to my surprise the cost of going for the Floating Market is about 1,200-1,400 Baht per person, and taking the ferry to any destination per trip along Chao Phraya River is 40 Baht. See the difference?! We cancelled our plan and took the ferry ride and head to Bangkok Grand Palace. We came just in time to catch the ferry :)

*glitters*

Loads of #selfie for me as I'm the photographer. MEH!

*super SHADTISFIED fayces*
Here we are; at the Temple Street

Lots of amulets sold here

While waiting for a cup of ice cold coffee

500 Baht each, cut the queue as we got it from a tour guide
Though, we beat the queue, I got stopped by the security guard for inappropriate dressing. *meow* And they got to wait for me while I queue to get dress. The human traffic is crazy on Sunday. My personal advice to those of you visiting Bangkok Grand Palace, do not do it on a Sunday. You can't take decent photos of the temple without having "tourist" in your picture. So forget about learning the history. But thanks to Kade and Mister Faizul, to make it somewhat a good experience for me. :)

The queue for dressing inappropriately, 1 piece of clothing for rental cost 200 Baht; a piece of yellow receipt will be given for your refund of $$$; but if u lose it, u lose ur $$$
Finally....
Ta-dah!

The march-off

Abandoned Tuk Tuk

Taxi here are super colourful

After the temple self tour, we got hungry and went to the restaurant near jetty area. The place was newly furbished with brand new cafes and restaurants. This place has a high tourist traffic, therefore it was renovated. It's a good place to chill by the river. It is similar to Singapore Esplanade. :)

Our brunch

Mango Sticky Rice

*just like old times when ur dad took photos of us*

#ootd

It was almost 5-6pm local time, we head back to our apt/room by taxi. We washed up a little and head to Sala Daeng BTS. We walked around the shopping centre and decided to have our dinner before we start the "night". Heh. We had dinner at The **** company, apparently in Bangkok it's worth the $$$. We had pasta and risotto. Yums!!! The night market in Bangkok seems like never ending. We walked around with one thing in mind, is to explore the red light district in Bangkok; just like you see in the movie Hangover. I bet you guys heard of Ping Pong Show as well as Tiger Show. Curiosity kills the cat, literally. 300 Baht worth of entrance, and that doesn't include the tip to be given to the performer. If you really, really, really wanna go; just do so but get your small change handy. But my advice, give it a pass. Your money is worth for other things in the Night Market. We left the place after the third performer. All I can share here, to be discreet; 1) Neon Strings, 2) Write Your Name and 3) Birthday Candle.

Night Market on the road

Crispy Bread! Yummy pls! 25-30 Baht

Bigger than my face

=)

The road of madness!

And that's how we end our third night, with partial regrets, things/stuffs that you can't erase from your mind. HAHA! But it was pretty awesome day, I would say.
