Flight to BKK was at 6am wee in the morning whereby people are still asleep. *snooze* Took a cab to the airport costing about $20s-$30s! *bleargh* So, anyways checked-in and wandering in the DFS area... shops are only open at 6am sharp. Ha... ha... ha.... luckily, our boarding time is at 6.20am, we've got like 20mins to do "shopping". Lol... but we did. We got on our flight and we got to see sunrise during take off...

High up in sky, look at those clouds

Touchdown baby!! Alhamdullilah...
And 2 hrs later... we've reached! Got through the immigration and we start our journey to our accomodation, which then we got lost. Like super lost, till finally we found the route and eventually got the in-house tuk2 to drive us in. Phew, gruesome journey, i must say! We placed our baggage and get our long awaited brunch at Yana's Halal Food (MBK level 5, i guess). We walked around Siam area (killing time cause we gonna fetch Mister Faizul at the airport)
Our room/apt interior decor

Ahhh... What a wonderful sight, with outdoor balcony...
Our first Tuk Tuk ride of the day costing 250 Baht, we didn't that it is COSTLY for the locals, but for the experience WHY NOT?! (FYI, we didn't know it should cost like 30-70 Baht per trip from where we're staying)
This uncle "ketok" us, but it's ok, cause he gave us a mini tour along the way! :)
First meal for the WHOLE DAY, halal sis!
And they have free WIFI! (password:halalfood)
The journey from Phloen Chit BTS to airport roughly took about 30-45 mins? I didn't exactly time myself, just a gauge. Soon after his arrival, we went to Siam thinking shops might be open, BUT no... most shops are closed by 10 pm, almost as similar to Singapore. But as tourists, you wouldn't know where you can find food at that particular hour other than MacDonald. Thank God, for MacDonald.Well Day One, ended quite gruesomely for me, really... the rest are history. Will update on my day soon. :)
